- Costumes for the sew beautiful cloth dolls goes back to the 18th century when dressing was not ordinary, and elegance was the trend of the day.
- Fashion designs and sewing was very professional, the woman figure was carefully studied and costumes were designed to support the body structure. Looking at the several pieces of undergarment that was part of the dressing process is stunning. Enough to indicate why women are always late especially for their wedding day
- Needless to mention how time consuming it is to get into each piece of clothing and to accurately set them on the body. Most times the process require a second person to assist so that in the end the final piece of clothing which is the outer garment will give the complement to the personality of the individual. The end result usually look like a make over, the individual would then be seen in the extra ordinary light. In this showcase the designer immitates the 18th century costumes for her doll through literature from the public Library.
- This showcase is a means of preserving the history of this creativity identifying the work with the designer Artist.
